Rara Lake

The Rara Lake is surrounded by hills and mountains and the climate over there in summer is quite pleasant but winter is cold. The best visiting time to the lake is September/October and April to May. From December to March, the temperatures go low below the freezing point, and heavy snowfall occurs up to one meter, blocking the way to the lake. April to June is warm in this region.

The area is pristine as no civilization lives there, except the army camps nearby. However visitors can enjoy tea houses and boatman’s while surfing around the lake side. The colorful clouds were reflecting themselves on the lake, making it look like a big mirror. It’s easy to spend a lot of time being looking at the beauty of Rara.
